A Thousand Humble Apologies

As you may have noticed, the NFL pages have been locked for the majority of the last 24 hours. I'm sorry for any inconvenience caused.
Thankfully FF seems to have built a loyal and enthusiastic audience. Consequently, I only had to look in my inbox this morning to see that something wasn't right with FF. A big thanks to Hector, Jason, Hossracer and Dave for letting me know, otherwise I might not have noticed for quite a while.
The thing about this software caper is that you can never get complacent. FF has been running like clockwork for so long that I was confident, to the point of being disgustingly arrogant, that FF was entirely bug free. As it turns out, it went down yesterday as a result of a bug that had existed, but not been exposed, for at least 3 years.
The good thing about the bug is that it has motivated me to make my first blog posting for two years! Hopefully we won't have to wait until the next bug before it happens again. Between children and building a house, FF has not received a lot of love and attention from me in the last three years. I plan to sacrifice sleep in the coming months to finally make some progress on my many grand plans.
